Stepping motors are divided into reactive motors, permanent magnet motors, and hybrid motors. Below is a brief introduction to the advantages and disadvantages of these three stepper motors.

1. Zhonggu Weike reactive motor: The advantages of this type of motor are relatively simple structure, relatively low cost, and small step angle. At the same time, its power performance is poor, its efficiency is not high, it will generate heat, and its reliability is difficult.

2. Permanent magnet motor: Made of permanent magnet material. The number of stages and electrons of the rotor are the same, so it has the advantages of excellent dynamic performance and large output torque. However, this type of motor also has drawbacks, such as poor accuracy and large stepping torque angle.

III. Zhonggu Weike Hybrid Electric Motor: This type of motor combines the advantages of the first two types of motors, but its structure is relatively complex, manufacturing is difficult, and production costs are relatively high.

 

Introduction to the working principle of screw motor

A screw stepper motor, also known as a linear stepper motor, is formed by the interaction of pulse electromagnetic fields generated by the magnetic rotor core and stator. The screw stepper motor converts rotational motion into linear motion within the motor.

Working principle of screw motor:

The screw engages with the nut and uses some method to prevent relative rotation of the screw, causing it to move axially. Overall, there are currently two ways to achieve this transformation. One way is to embed a rotor with internal threads in the motor, and the internal threads of the rotor mesh with the screw to achieve linear motion.

The second type is to use the lead screw as the motor output shaft, and the motor engages with the lead screw through an external drive nut to achieve linear motion. Therefore, the design is greatly simplified, so that in many application fields, screw stepper motors can be directly used for Linear motion without the need to install external mechanical links.
